Juho Pesonen
Juho received his doctorate from the University of Eastern Finland Business School in 2013, with a focus on digital tourism marketing. He has been involved in tourism research since 2007 and has managed and worked in several national and international tourism research and development projects and networks. Now Juho is running the only tourism focused master's degree programme in Finnish business schools. His main research interests are in digital tourism marketing, destination marketing and development, hospitality technology, sustainable tourism, and rural and nature-based tourism.

Jeroen Gulickx
Jeroen is a well-travelled hospitality professional with 20+ years’ experience within the Hotel & Spa segment. He is the author of A Hotelier’s Mind – Setting Strategy for the Future book published in 2016. Jeroen’s expertise ranges from streamlining of cost and operational models, strategy, business development and marketing to digital marketing. Jeroen has worked with several key Sales & Marketing positions in large blue chip companies, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Millennium Hotels & Resorts, as well as small boutique companies and hotels. Over the years his leadership and team skills have led to significant change within both independent hotels and hotel chains. He is particularly skillful in turning innovative and disruptive ideas into reality focusing on providing incremental revenues and cost savings.

Henry Johansson
Henry’s professional background is split into two parts. 10 years in a restaurant industry - culminating as a restaurateur at Restaurant Postres - and another 10 years as an alcohol importer of which 6 years in leadership roles at the Servaali Oy. Henry loves restaurant business passionately and wants to create applications and tools to solve restaurateurs every day challenges. The mission of Book&Order is to change the restaurant business globally and break the old way of purchasing restaurant services only onsite at the restaurant. Hanna Lak
Hanna started her revenue management career at the Hotel Kämp in Helsinki in 2001. Since then she held several positions with the Starwood Hotels & Resorts before launching her own company HMMH Consulting Oy in 2009. Since then she has worked as a consultant and trainer both in Finland and internationally. To accelerate the Total Revenue Management knowhow and bringing the knowledge closer to the Finnish travel industry she founded Nordic Revenue Forum in 2018. She is sniffing the industry news actively for trends and innovations.

Lawrence has over 25 years of experience in international hospitality management, and has 18 years of stories to share about implementing and developing Total Revenue Management enterprise applications in more than 50 different countries. Lawrence started his career in F&B Operations which is where his passion for the business still lies, and specializes in F&B and Group Sales & Catering Revenue Management, and is happiest when he is helping to develop multi-functional teams to exceed profitable expectations. He lives in Belgium with his family.

Kim Spolén is the director Infor Hospitality Nordics and has a background of working at several of Stockholm’s leading hotels for a total of 20 years, among them Sheraton Hotel, Strand Hotel and the Sergel Plaza Hotel and has also been a consultant during the opening of, among others, a 5-star hotel in Prague. He has wide experience of working with PMS, Channel and Rate Management and is also a frequent speaker on how to work with and optimise social media strategy in hospitality business. Before joining Infor, Kim worked for Hoist Group.

During her hospitality journey, Ortensia understood the need that the industry had for innovation and automation, therefore she has decided to join IDeaS in 2016 and further help hoteliers with their Revenue Management and Meetings & Events Strategy. All of these with a single goal in mind: show revenue uplift and increase profitability for her clients.

Hannu Vahokoski has worked in business development in both sales & marketing as well as consulting role for over 20 years. Hannu is specialized in understanding consumer behaviour, service design, and customer experience. He is familiar with Shopper marketing since working for Leaf sweets company. Hannu has worked in hospitality business for the past 10 years, where he started with Otrum the TV-systems and was in charge of global hotel chains in Europe. Hannu got an idea for a new type of service for hotels two years ago, when he noticed digitalisation was still far from the daily life of the industry. - The Hotelway was born. ”My passion is to get things rolling without ”hick ups”- and provide more for the customer at the same time”, Hannu.

Anna is responsible for growing Availpro’s business in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Her mission is to help hotels in the Nordics manage their online distribution. Anna Israelsson describes herself as a hotelier with a true passion for technology. After kicking off her career at Availpro as an Account Manager, Anna then evolved within the hospitality industry as a Hotel Manager in a brand new property in Paris, where she realized the impact of technology on hotel performance and success.

Tijl Speetjens is Business Development Manager for OTA Insight, managing the Benelux and Nordics markets, where he focuses on engaging local and global players in the hospitality industry to share the challenges they face in the digital landscape and aims to provide tools and insights to help hoteliers overcome their technological barriers. Tijl has also previously worked at Availpro, Expedia and Booking.com where he has managed a number of European territories, and helped hoteliers navigate distribution challenges and provided them with insight on how to win in a Revenue Management based environment.
